Zara Haroon (she/her) has been a member of the Reimagining Justice Lab as a part of the Hidden Sentencing Qualitative Research Team since the Spring of 2026 while studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. With strong interests in research and data analysis, she wants to examine the intersection between science and its impact on society. Her academic interests centre on research that combines scientific research with qualitative and historical analysis to explore different societal issues. She plans on further pursuing her interest in research and declare a second major in a related field.
Outside of coursework, Zara Haroon enjoys spending time with friends and family and going on walks. She also likes to try new things and explore different places, especially trying new coffee shops.
