Sophia Spyrou (she/her) has been a member of the Reimagining Justice Lab in various groups since Summer 2025, and is currently a member of the Legal Tracing and Training Data Team. She is a Sociology and Gender Studies double major on a Pre Law Track in her senior year at Smith College and, from her positionality as an international student, is fascinated by how legislative analysis can function as a means towards tangible policy reform and the ways in which systemic and individual justice meet law at the intersection of the hands-on work being done in the lab. She plans on using the experience gained from the Reimagining Justice Lab to inform her further studies and career in the legal sphere, with a particular focus on gender and international law.
At Smith College, she works as a Peer Advisor at the school’s career center, and just finished a study abroad program in Spain where she held a research position with the Sociology Department at the Universidad de Complutense de Madrid.
Outside of academics, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends, family, and pets.
