Shaila Khan (she/her) has been a member of the Reimagining Justice Lab as part of the Public Writing and Editing Team since Spring of 2026 while studying Biology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She spends much of her time engaged in research and working throughout several healthcare facilities, and is passionate about helping vulnerable populations through advocacy, education, and community-centered care. She is deeply interested in the intersections of healthcare, justice, and social inequities, and how understanding these patterns can inform more compassionate, ethical, and accessible medical care. She plans to pursue a career in medicine, with interests in health equity and community-based care.
In her free time, she enjoys creative writing, photography, movies, and spending time with friends and family.
