Xingyu Cai (she/her) has been a member of the Reimagining Justice Lab as a part of the Hidden Sentencing Qualitative Research Team and Computational Team since the Summer of 2024 while studying Computer Science and Sociology at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She has a passion for justice and equitable development of technology. She is particularly interested in tackling cyber crimes against women with her knowledge and skills from CS and Sociology.
She plans on going to graduate school to pursue her master’s degree in computer science with a focus on cybersecurity. In her free time, Xingyu enjoys jogging.
