Samar Haddad (she/her) joined the Reimagining Justice Lab as a part of the Genocide History Team in the Fall of 2024 while studying Sociology and Natural Resources Conservation at UMass Amherst. Samar is a member of the Honors College and is currently a Teaching Assistant for an intro level NRC class. She is passionate about social justice in all its forms and hopes to pursue an academic and professional career focused on its intersection with environmental justice.
Samar is also an active member of Habitat for Humanity and Students for Justice in Palestine here at UMass. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with loved ones.
