Peixi Shi (she/her) has been a member of the Reimagining Justice Lab as part of the Legislative Tracing Team since Fall 2024, focusing on the historical origins of hidden sentence laws. She is studying at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she explores topics related to social equity, education inequality, and justice.

With a background in sociology and art, Peixi integrates creative approaches into her research and advocacy work. She has conducted research on education inequality and has been involved in preschool education, working with students from diverse backgrounds. She is also a game designer, using interactive media to engage audiences with complex social issues.
