Maxfield Nadeau-DaCruz (they/them) joined the Qualitative Research Team in Spring 2024. They are a sociology major at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a certificate in social research analysis. They are a peer advisor for the sociology department, as well as the advisor for the Sociology Club, and a member of the Council for Social Equality and Justice. Max is passionate about research and is conducting independent mixed-methods research about the impact of discrimination on transgender identity currently. They are planning to continue their education with graduate school in Sociology, focused on gender, race and discrimination research.
