Luciette (Lucie) Daignault (she/her) is pursuing a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree at Georgetown University Law Center. As an undergraduate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Luciette studied psychology with a minor in sociology and a certificate in criminal justice. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Honors degree with greatest distinction. Her senior honors thesis titled Protect Our Children: The Need for The Re-Introduction of a Rehabilitative Focus in the United States Juvenile Justice System is a reflection of her passion surrounding criminal justice reform, particularly concerning juveniles.
