Lilly Besserer (she/her) has been a member of the Reimagining Justice Lab as a part of the Genocide Research Team since the Spring of 2025. She is studying Political Science and Legal Studies at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is passionate about environmental justice, protecting human rights, and voter rights.
During her time at UMass, she has been actively involved in the Marching and Pep Band, playing both the Alto Saxophone and the Clarinet. She is also the secretary and campaign coordinator at the UMass Amherst MassPIRG chapter; and has accepted a post-grad job as a PIRG campus organizer for the Fall of 2025.
