Leyna Summers (they/them) joined the Reimagining Justice Lab as part of the Legislative Tracing team in Spring 2025. They are majoring in Legal Studies and Journalism with a minor in Psychology at UMass Amherst and plans on attending law school in the future. They have always been passionate about solving inequalities in the American legal system and hope to gain a better understanding from this research experience.
Leyna is also a writer for the Massachusetts Daily Collegian and a radio show host for WMUA 91.1FM. In their free time, they can be found listening to music or spending time with friends.
