Julien Stiehl (he/him) currently serves as one of the Lab Administrators at the Reimagining Justice Lab, where he oversees undergraduate legal research operations. Previously, he contributed to the Lab’s Digitization team, utilizing legal databases to identify and categorize historical documents pertaining to hidden sentence enactment. He also worked with the Tracing team, conducting comprehensive analyses of the legal origins and historical development of hidden sentence legislation. Currently an undergraduate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Julien is pursuing a dual degree in Sociology and Public Health. His academic interests center on social justice-oriented reform within public institutions.

Outside of his academic pursuits, he enjoys working out, hiking, writing, basketball, and playing Magic: The Gathering.
