Jill Alie Hercule Espinal (she/her) was a member of the Reimagining Justice Lab as a part of the Legislative Tracing Research Team in the Fall of 2024 while studying Sociology and Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is passionate about intersectionality and understanding how it plays a major role in the U.S. penal system. She plans on attending law school to study International Law.
Jill Alie Hercule Espinal is also a Sociology Peer Advisor, involved with UMass RHA, UMass SGA Senate, and acts as a Sociology Major Representative for the SBS Dean Student Advisory Council. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family
