Ella Masciarelli (she/her) has been a member of the Reimagining Justice Lab as a part of the Hidden Sentencing Legislative Tracing Team since Spring of 2025 while studying Legal Studies and Economics at UMass Amherst. Her own research focuses on the role of legislation in preventing and responding to gendered crimes. She plans on attending law school after her undergraduate career.
Ella is also the Vice President of UMass Against Rape Culture, a Peer Intern for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences and a Policy Specialist for the Center for Education and Policy Advocacy.
