Astrid Erickson (she/her) is a Graphic Design and Sociology double-major at UMass Amherst pursuing a Criminology & Criminal Justice Certificate. She was a member of the Qualitative Research Team from 2022 to 2024 and worked on the Reimagining Justice Lab website development. She is passionate about US criminal justice system reform and designed her Senior Honors Thesis, a board game called “Prison Life” which cross-pollinates Criminology and Graphic Design.
After UMass, she hopes to move to New York City / Brooklyn to pursue Graphic Design in a sociologically-minded field or design for a criminal justice reform organization. In her off-time, Astrid competes on the UMass Women’s Club Soccer team, drives stick shift, and spends time in the great outdoors.
