Abigail Lewis (she/her) was a member of the Qualitative Research team at the Reimagining Justice Lab as part of the hidden sentences research project for approximately a year while studying at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Outside of the lab, Abigail is involved with Student Alumni Association, where she works as the Philanthropy Involvement Coordinator, and the Student Government Association, where she works as a senator. She is also an intern with the Peer Health Education program, working to advocate for health equity on campus. She is working to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a secondary major in Comparative Literature, along with a certificate in International studies, and is on track to graduate in the spring of 2026.
Abigail intends to work within international human rights law and policy. She has specifically held a longtime goal of reforming international practices around genocide prevention. After graduation, she is planning on attending law school.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, and watching movies. She enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and going on adventures (her dream is to go skydiving!).
