Ella Peterson (she/her) has been a member of the Reimagining Justice Lab as a part of the Hidden Sentencing Digitization Team, starting in the Spring of 2026. Ella is pursuing a double major in Environmental Science and Legal Studies as well as a Letter of Specialization in Social Justice and Law at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is deeply passionate about delving into how the law may act to proliferate and alleviate environmental and social justice issues. Aside from being a Research Assistant, Ella is also interning with MassPIRG to advocate for sustainability campaigns and is a member of various clubs such as the Vietnamese Student Association. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her loved ones.
