Dominique Pierre is an Honors Political Science student at UMass Amherst and recently joined the Reimagining Justice Lab for Spring 2026. In Fall 2025, she participated in the SBS in DC program, where she interned at the largest Democratic political fundraising firm in Washington, DC. On campus, Dominique serves as the Outreach Coordinator for the National Black Law Students Association Pre-Law Chapter. She was also a 2025 Fellow in the UMass Women into Leadership Program and now serves as a peer mentor to other students in the program. Dominique is passionate about social justice, prison reform, and the intersection of law and inequality. She plans to attend law school and pursue a career as a public defender.
Dominique also enjoys working out, cooking, baking and spending time with friends and family.
