Averie Narreau (she/her) has been a member of the Hidden Sentence History team in the Reimagining Justice lab since Fall 2026, while studying Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She enjoys learning how people interpret stimuli, what causes them to interpret it that way, and how these mechanisms impact judgement within the legal system. She plans to earn a doctorate in Social Psychology, with an emphasis on Neuroscience, with the goal of advising policymakers to create policies aligning with human cognition and social decision-making.
In her free time, Averie is a member of the UMass Outing Club and enjoys spending time with her dog, Bruin, playing pop songs on the piano, and drinking coffee.
