Aribeth Gu (She/Her) is a Freshman at the University of Massachusetts studying Anthropology. She joined the Reimagining Justice Lab’s Legal Tracing/Data Matching team in Spring 2026. As a pre-law student, she is interested in applying data-matching techniques to examine patterns of systemic bias in the enforcement of criminal justice policies. She hopes to use these tools to work alongside marginalized communities to better understand and challenge inequities within the US Justice system.
Aribeth is also a Peer Dialogue Facilitator and Spring 2026 UWiL Fellow. In her free time, you can find her developing photos in the student union dark room, logging movies on Letterboxd, or winning a bidding war on eBay.
